The ABOUT Group is working to provide hope and a future for Oglala Lakota Native Americans from the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota and neighboring Nebraska through economic and spiritual development programs. A Nebraska not-for-profit organization since 2005, we offer opportunities for disadvantaged Native Americans to improve their lives with the full dignity of self determination and responsibility. We encourage community development by hosting Christmas and seasonal events.

Our partner, Prairie Passions, offers artwork and jewelry created by Oglala Lakota artists.

A Binding Of Us Together (ABOUT) is what we’re all about, literally.

Our ministry Vision is “To witness a binding of us together, the church and the nations.”  We partner with many, many different ministries representing a wide spectrum of the Christian Church.  the ABOUT group is not affiliated with any particular denomination or Christian fellowship group but is incorporated in the State of Nebraska as a not-for-profit religious organization (formed in 2005).

We are to be a witness – by the way we conduct ministry and relationships – as well as a witness of God’s plan to bind together our nations – white and red,  Americans and Lakota.

Founders of the ABOUT group, and directors/managers since its incorporation, are Bruce and Marsha BonFleur.  Initially called to Pine Ridge Reservation in 1998 they remain fully committed to see the Lord transform the place – the people – emotionally (to become strong as He created them); physically (to become healthy as He created them) and spiritually (to become believers and followers of Jesus Christ, who is ‘the Way, the Truth and the Life’).
